Thoughts on how to do this in X Theme?

I want to replicate this functionality in X Theme.

I don’t think I can install this library on my shared host so I am looking for an alternative way to build this. Perhaps with jQuery or just CSS.

Any thoughts on this?

In case anybody wants to know… We managed to create this layout in Slider Revolution. It was a challenge and took way too much time but it works great and the client is happy.
