Third Party Plugins Overriding

I have just upgraded from X to Pro over the past week.

Everything has been working great until I have tried to create an events page. I downloaded both the Modern Events Calendar that came with my original X purchase and the Events Calendar.

When either plugin is activated, it has been messing with the styling of my pages and has left me unable to edit any of my pages.

No suitable preview area found. This could happen when a third party plugin is overrinding the content area.

I have tried looking up other issues in the support, but I have not found a solution to my issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello @jakobwise,

Thanks for asking.

Please try out following solution and let us know how it goes.

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Make sure that you’re running at least PHP v7.0 or later to avoid any WordPress related incompatibility issues. If you’re not sure what your server configurations and settings are, install a plugin like WP-Serverinfo (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-serverinfo/) and check your server info by head over to Dashboard -> WP Serverinfo area.
  3. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  4. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.
