Theme X website http://mopedtrial.staging.wpengine.com/

  1. I have an anchor tag set-up on a section of the home page. In the section I have added palovarotene in Customize ID section. Above on the home page I in text I have a link . When I click on the link I can see the link http://mopedtrial.staging.wpengine.com/#palovarotene in the browser url line, but it does not go to the section.

  2. I have anchor tags on three menu items “About MO” “About the Study” and “FAQ” that go to sections on the home page. This is a two page website home and contact. If I am on the contact page the menu items work fine. However, if I am on the home page the menu items do not work. I am using a custom link menu and I have /#aboutmo set-up as the url for the menu url. I also tried using http://mopedtrial.staging.wpengine.com#aboutmo as the custom link url and it worked fine from the contact page, but not on the home page. How do I set-up menu anchors tags so they will work both on the home page and on the contact page?

Thank you for writing in, you updated the Cornerstone to the latest version (3.1.6), but you leave the X behind. Please update X to the latest version (6.1.6) as well to avoid incompatibility issues.

Updating Your Themes and Plugins

Remember to clear all caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Thank you, that was it. The site is on a WP Engine staging area and for some reason it was not showing to updated X. I did a manual FTP update of X and that fixed the issue. I was pulling my hair out yesterday.
