Hi there! I’ve been using X and Pro for a while now and I’m confused about the relationship between Theme Options and the Customizer. I prefer to use the Theme Options in Pro but unfortunately Customizer options will often override what I’m selecting in the Theme Options.
Is there a way to disable the X specific panels in the Customizer so they don’t interfere with the Theme Options in Pro?

Hello Chris,
Thanks for writing in! There is indeed some issues between the Theme Options and the Customizer. It wold result to a conflict overriding what has already been set in the theme options. In the next releases of X/Pro, the customize will be totally removed. At the moment, you cannot disable X specific panels without modifying the parent theme files. So for now, I would recommend that you just work with customizer. Theme Options will be in full control in the next releases hopefully.

If anyone else is struggling with this I found that toggling the Enable Font Manager in the theme options will help override some of the customizer options.
