Theme Options Don't Show

Hello,
I am trying to adjust the X Theme Options here: http://r73.dd4.myftpupload.com/
but the wheel keeps spinning and nothing happens. All themes, plugins, and WP are updated and I have done the steps outlined here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/when-i-try-to-access-theme-options-i-get-a-spinning-wheel-and-nothing-loads-what-do-i-need-to-do/40966/12

The issue began when I imported the setting on another X site that works fine. Please fix ASAP.

Thanks,
LF

Hi Liliaf,

Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

  7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

Please confirm that you have tried all of these and if it didn’t help then please provide us your wordpress admin login in SECURE NOTE.

Thanks

Okay, I was able to change the wp-config file and htaccess. No change in the issue.
Please help,
LF

Hey LF,

I checked your Theme Options and it works. See the screenshot in the secure note.

Have you cleared your browser’s cache? Please also try in incognito mode and other browsers and possibly, other computers connected to a different network.

Would you also mind recording a screencast using useloom.com so we could see what’s happening on your end. Once you’re in Theme Options, open the browser’s developer tools and go to the Console tab to see what errors are generated. You can open the dev tools by pressing F12 in the keyboard.

Thanks.

Okay, that worked. Thanks.

Glad we were able to help :slight_smile:
