Hi there,
That is strange, if you check the website in Chrome with Mac and click on the search icon before the site loads completely it works with no problem. But as soon as completion is finished the search section breaks.
That shows a plugin must have some sort of Javascript or CSS code which overrides the default functionality of the theme and has conflict. I suggest that you follow the steps below:
- Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
- Change the theme of the website from Child Theme to Main Theme and see if it fixes the problem. If yes this shows there is a customization on your Child Theme which is causing the issue.
- Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
- Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
- Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
Thank you.
