The grid, link to other page

Hi, can somebody help me with “The Grid”? I really need help step by step how to do it.

  1. I want to make page that holds images.

  1. Then i place my mouse on one of image it will start glow grey, and show little box text.

3.Then i click on it, it will opens new page that holds that section images, with video and photo group buttons.

Third option i can make but, i dont know how to do it first and second option, without opening it, just link it to other page.

Thanks for reaching out.

For the hover and text layer, please check this https://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#skin_builder. You’ll have to add an item to the skin layout and use element style to change its color. Then for grey color, change the overlay style of the cover.

As for linking with custom source, that I think is not possible. With this, I recommend trying the essential grid, it has skin editor too and it will allow you to create custom grid that you can link to other pages that contains another grids. Hi @graphictaste,

Did you decide to use THE GRID or Essential GRID? Both have an option to delete an element when you edit a skin. Here’s the sample on THE GRID how to delete an element:

Then here’s the part where you can add link to the MEDIA:

Everything is ok. Im using essential grid. One more question: Lightbox is not working normaly, i miss thumbnails below image and buttons on the photo to scroll left or right.

Thanks for updating in! I have checked your site and I could not find the page in question. This could just be a caching issue. I noticed that you have installed Autoptimize plugin. After doing the updates and site changes, always remember to clear all caches so that the code from the latest release is always in use and the changes will be displayed immediately. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

And please clear your browser cache too. You may use private browsing mode in testing your site to make sure that you are viewing the latest codes from the updates and not the cached version in your browser.

If nothing is helping, please provide us the url of the page in questioned.

Hey @graphictaste,

For the missing lightbox thumbnails, please check your Shown Media Orders choices. They should be images you’re using.

Still under the Lightbox tab, check if the Navigation Arrows option is disabled.

If that doesn’t help, please give us your site’s WordPress Login URL, Username and Password in a Secure Note so we could check your setup.
