The Grid and Testimonials Stopped Working Properly After Update

For my wife’s website, www.901nutrition.com, on the homepage the Classic The Grid element is not working properly, with the spacing between the 3 grid elements (3 blog posts) being smushed together. Also, in the middle of the page there was a testimonials shortcode (from a Wordpress plugin) that is not showing up anymore after I updated X theme.

Ok, so I restored from my April 2018 backup and testimonials and The Grid are working properly again.

But more issues have arisen. When viewing pages in Cornerstone, they appear as how they are supposed to. However, when viewing the website online, background colors are missing, alignment of buttons is left (instead of centered), spacing between header text, images, and text are missing.

I have used many themes in the past, from small companies and large, and nothing has given me as many headaches as X theme and the Cornerstone builder. I have two extra licenses, and I can’t possibly imagine using them when things go wrong so many times.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
3. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options and/or Child Theme and test the case.
4. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
5. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.
