Text input box shifting down when clicked?

Hello. Loving x theme and renew currently. My issue is that whenever you click on the input box of a contact form, the entire form moves down for some reason. I’ve tried multiple contact forms plugins (currently using contact form 7) and they’ve all done the same thing, and have tried creating fresh pages to see if that would fix it. I’ve also tried it on both my laptop and desktop and get the same result. I’ve looked at the code and have to admit that I’m stumped as I can’t tell what’s causing it to shift down.

You can see it here by clicking on the big text input for the message: https://storyshrine.com/contact/

Hi Bernie,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your site in all major browsers including IE11 and Microsoft Edge but i couldn’t replicate the issue on my end. I clicked on all input fields including the message text area but the form doens’t move. Perhaps it’s a browser or OS specific issue, can you share your browser and OS information so we can try replicating the issue on out end.

I tested in Windows 10, all major browsers and the form doesn’t move when clicking on any input field. If possibe please share a video recording of the issue as well.

In the mean time please check for the following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Remove custom CSS/Javascript (take a complete backup first of your custom code)

Thanks!

No, thank you! I fixed the issue and forgot to update the post. Thank you very much and sorry for the trouble.

Glad to hear it’s sorted, Bernie.
