Im developing a site for a café, and I want to introduce a content reveal to the food menu item so as you scroll down menu items slide in. Can I do this within a tab? I understand I would need to apply transition properties possibly

Regarding your question, the slide-in animation is already available in X. It’s the Column Fade In Effect.
Once the column becomes visible in the screen, it will fade slide into view. You can set the direction, duration and offset. Please watch the 4 min demo below to see a sample usage. Forgive me for the lack of audio. Just pause and play or slow the video down to follow along with the settings.

Yes that helps, now the question is can I add this beautiful effect to the individual text blocks within tabbed content with a shortcode type of thing, so each food item comes on as per animation

Regretfully, the slide animation is only available in columns.
I tried to find an alternative plugin but I don’t think it will work inside a tabbed content or in cornerstone
