Sub-Menu Links Not Correct

I copied my development site to a new URL, like from http://test.mysite.com to http://mysite.com. X was complaining that X wasn’t licensed. I had the X license pointing to the dev site, and changed it to http://mysite.com. I registered the X code sucessully on X in the WP admin page. However, all sub-menu items are still pointing to test.mysite.com not mysite.com.
I tried one of your suggestions to save the Permalink settings, but that has no effect. It should be noted that the main menu items are correct, it is the submenu that are pointing to the old website.

How can I get the menus to point to the correct website?

Thanks,
Bryan

Hello Bryan,

Thanks for writing in!

Please go to Settings > General and make sure that the Site Url and WordPress Address Url is using the the mysite.com.

And then go to Appearance > Menus and manage your menu items. If you have inserted custom links, you might want to update that and use the mysite.com.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks, it was the links in the menu items. Being new to X, I am still figuring out what is done in X and what is done in WP.

Bryan

Hello Bryan,

Thanks for updating the thread.

X Theme will help you setting up the front end and layout of the website. However the core functionality of website lies in WordPress like, Navigation, Posts, pages etc.

If you would like to explore more, I would suggest you to take a look at following resources:
