Strange behavior in Firefox

Hi,

This website I’m working on (http://zentire.nl) is behaving peculiar in the Firefox browser:

It should look like it does in Safari:

I work on a Mac.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing around! Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, JavaScript and deactivate your child theme and switch to parent theme.

Thanks.

Thanks for the default answer. I would reckon that something basic like the display of images would produce the same results in two of the major web browsers.

Hi Ying,

Try to set your image element width to 100% instead of Auto

or if you are using Classic Image Element add this in the style field.

width:100%;

Hope that helps.

Thanks Paul, that did the trick!

Hi Paul,

Now I’m using a content area modal and the same happens with images in the content area:

Again only in Firefox, not in Safari:

Hello There,

Please clear your Firefox browser cache or use private browsing mode and test again.

Please let us know how it goes.

Nope, still the same.

Hi There,

Please also add this custom CSS:

.x-modal-content img {
width: 100%;
height: auto;
}

Hope it helps :slight_smile:

That did the trick. Thanks!
