Sticky header on mobile jumping, flexing

Hi there,

I’ve found when I set the header to be sticky on mobile. When I scroll on the page (safari & chrome) it sometimes jumps position. Then if I scroll back to the top the header is cut in half and also then there is a white space between the cut in half header and the first lot of content of the site.

Is there something in my settings that I have wrong with this?

Hi There @designandstuff

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking your site, I see that you’re not fully updated. You can check the latest version numbers from here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195) and update your Pro theme and any outdated plugins accordingly (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

If you’re still having issues, then I would suggest you to disable your 3rd party plugins and test your issue further. If the issue resolved, then you can activate your plugins one by one to see which plugin causing this issue.

I see that you’re using a child theme. You can also deactivate your child theme by activating your parent Pro theme under Appearance -> Themes area and see if your child theme customizations causing this issue.

Finally, if you have added any custom JavaScript/CSS into your site, try removing them temporarily and test your issue further.

I see that you’re using a caching plugin and you have enabled CSS/JavaScript minifications. I would suggest you to disable your minifcations and clear full cache before testing your site. You can refer to the following resource if needed (https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-clear-your-cache-in-wordpress/).

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
