Static layer not showing on top of slider

I’ve checked EVERYTHING, and can’t get the layer group on my static layer to show above the slider. Even in checking the markup, it’s not there. Please advise.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!
Not sure what exactly happening in your side, can you please help us with a screencast video of the issue that you are facing so that we can suggest you better?
Meanwhile you can check this static layer tutorial video for help.

Thanks

I attached a link so you can look yourself. There’s supposed to be an h1 with three buttons globally while the slides change behind it. Layer is enabled, visible, and set to front.

When grouped the layer doesn’t show. When I ungroup it they show up but they’re misaligned…

Hey There,

To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look at your slider settings and how you have set up the layers?

To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:

Thank you.

I’ve attached the secure note to my original post. Thanks!

Hi @jrhager84,

This looks like a bug as I can reproduce this on my installation. The static layers aren’t appearing, I’ll add this to our issue tracker. For now, you can add the layers to each slide.

Thanks!

Dang. I just can’t have the buttons animated through the slides… any ideas?

Hello There,

We already have added the issue in our bug tracker list. At the moment, no other ideas but to add the layers on each slide.
Once the creator of this plugin figure out a solution, a solution should be available for updates.

Thanks for your understanding.
