Slider Revolution video stopped working on home page

Hello,

The slider Revolution video for our home page is not working anymore.
I think we have the latest updates for everything.
Could you look into it?

Thanks

Hey Daniel,

Upon checking, I see the video playing (see the secure note). Please clear your browser cache then check again. Also check in incognito mode and other browsers.

If still the issue persists, would you mind giving us what Operating System and browser you’re using? Also provide their version number. If you have browser extensions, please also deactivate them all for testing.

Thanks.

Thank you for checking.
Must be the Hawaii connection? Still can’t see the vid. Will check with co-workers in the morning.

Hi,

Not sure what is causing it in your end. Yes, kindly check on another device.

Thanks

It is a security issue with some browsers/green padlock.
In the past, I recall seeing messages such as “Some of the content/images may not be secure” but now seems like insecure content is just not shown without warnings.
The normal script for Wistia is https, it’s when I try to use the video as a background an html5 is needed, and that is not https.

Is there a way to make the video full width?
I have the page set to no container but still boxing it.

Thanks
Isabelle

Hi Daniel,

The video is playing on my end as well (Windows 7 and 10, latest Chrome and Firefox).

But yes this could be that on the Wistia video, yes try a full-width Video element with the embed code instead.

And contact Wistia support if they could provide a secure URL (https) of the video (it might not free though).

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!

Arrgh! I edited my post instead of replying to you.
Here it is again.

Hi Isabelle,

If you want your video to be full width, you need to utilize revslider plugin and the theme’s Slider Below Masthead Feature

Kindly refer to the links below for your guide

Hope that helps
