Slider Revolution UI 'Save' button doesn't work

I just encountered an odd problem with Slider Revolution:

I can create sliders just fine and they work perfectly on my site. Whenever I go back to edit the slider settings the ‘Save’ button does not work.

This only appears to be happening on the “Slider Settings” tab and not the actual “Slide Editor” tabs as I can make changes and modification to slides.

Looking at the console, I appear to be getting the following error:

“Uncaught TypeError: rev_cm_custom_css.setLineClass is not a function”

I deactivated and re-activated Slider Revolution. Removed it and re-installed it. I also removed any unused and recently installed plugins with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Tyler,

Thank you for writing in, please do the following

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, Cornerstone, and latest compatible version of Revolution SLider extension (Version Compatibility)

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. Please deactivate this caching features while we tackle this issue.

  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  • Remove custom Javascript and custom templates (if any).

  • Try the solution provided here.

If the issue persists, please provide us the site URL and credentials in a Secure Note so we can take a closer look.

Cheers!

Thanks, @friech

I think I narrowed this down and figured I’d respond just in case someone else runs into this.

I’m using 8 Degree Fly Menu for an Off Canvas menu and that appeared to be creating the conflict. I should also mention that this is on a multisite install.

After some basic troubleshooting my issue seemed to go away after Network Activating 8 Degree Fly Menu as opposed to installing directly to one of the network sites.

Thanks!

Hi Tyler,

Thank you for sharing that, surely it will help others with same setup (issue) as yours.

Cheers!
