Slider Revolution late load in Chrome

Theme x - all plug-in up-to-date. Within the last week we started to see the Slider Revolution on the home page of https://www.avfx.com pop-in a bit late. I cannot see any new lazy load settings that my have come with an upgrade. My client does not like the slider popping in late - any ideas why this is happening all of a sudden - and how to correct it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @jvedder,

Thanks for asking.

Please take a look at following thread for some solutions.

Thanks.

Thank you for the reply, however, my issue is not related to live preview. My issue is related to the way Revolution Slider loads when my website is viewed by the public. The slider is on the home page, and is loaded “below the Masthead” in the slider settings area. I am seeing a change in behavior ( as I described in my original post) and I do not see any reason for this. I was hoping someone might have an idea of why I am seeing this behavior all of a sudden.

Hey @jvedder,

Sorry for the confusion. What was the previous behavior? Does the slider take up space while the content is still loading?

For your setup, you might need to enable the Stop Slider Out of ViewPort then the Preset Slider Height. For more details about those settings, please see https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/general-settings/

Thanks.

Thanks for suggestion. I did turn Preset Slider Height to on. But it did not fix the issue. The Slider Revolution still “popping in” late. It looks like it is not presetting the height. https://www.avfx.com - any other suggestions. This has just recently started to occur so something has changed recently.

Hey @jvedder,

Please set a minimum height of your slider and enable the preloader.

Hope this helps.
