SiteGround staging and Pro

Hello Themeco,
We are unable to use Pro when creating a SiteGround staging feature.
Pro seems to ignore the special configuration and generates the following error:

Here is what the support shared with us:

I was able to recreate the issue on my end.

In this case, the staging1 website is working with the https://www.staging1.clinique-virtuelle.com URL when the website is configured to work with the https://www.clinique-virtuelle.com URL because of that the builder is returning an error.

Please note that our Staging tool is using “Apache Module mod_substitute” and because of that, the setup of the all staging website is as mentioned above.

Unfortunately, if we configured the https://www.staging1.clinique-virtuelle.com website to work with the https://www.staging1.clinique-virtuelle.com URL, the website will stop loading.

In this case, you can contact the page builder support and discuss the issue with them.

Has anyone encountered this issue and knows a fix? We are developers, if we can put a temporary fix in the code, we would just need to know where in the codin’.

Is there any downside that that configuration?
If not, I can suggest SG to automate it in their tool as a “bugfix” technically.
