Hey,
When updated Pro theme to version 2.1.6., dropdown menu goes behind everything. How can I fix this?
I restored back to version 2.0.4 since it was (and still is) working perfectly.
Sincerely,
Ville Tura

Hi @VilleTuraKTC,
Thanks for writing in.
First, Create a staging site so we could check your setup further.
Usually, this happen because there are plugin or script that causing your CSS and Scripts not too work well.
After creating a staging site, You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hey Nico,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I created a stating site and tested all my 3rd party plugins. Unfortunately, the problem still exists.
What should I do next?
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Ville
Hi Ville,
I checked your live site and I see the content is being served by the cache, this could be related to the cache issue. Always make sure to purge the cache before and after the update. A recommended way is to disable all optimization services / cache plugins before the update so you can see all the changes right away.
Please check for the following on you staging site where you have the latest version:
Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.
Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
Remove custom CSS, JavaScript and deactivate your child theme and switch to parent theme (take a complete backup first).
Let us know how this goes!.
