Sidebar on “Imprint” page is missing

Dear Themeco Support Team,

the left-hand sidebar (ups-sidebar-rechtliches) on our “Imprint” page is missing in English (https://www.morga.ch/en/impressum/) and in French (https://www.morga.ch/fr/impressum/). Instead we can see the standard blog sidebar.

In German the sidebar is showing correctly: https://www.morga.ch/impressum/.

How can we switch on the sidebar on our English and French “Imprint” page as well?

Thanks for writing in!

Actually your sidebar is not missing. It is not showing because you did not translated the “Rechtliches” menu.

You need to translate the menu to English and French so that when you view the pages that this sidebar has been assigned to, there is an equivalent menu translation.

Hope this makes sense.

Thank you for helping. I did as advised and translated the German “Rechtliches” menu to French and named it “Rechtliches - FR”. But it is not working!! Here are the screenshots of my translation process:

Seems like the translations are not properly connected to each other. Would you mind taking another look at that? How can I translate that menu properly and make it appear in my page??

Hi there,

I could sort this problem out thanks to WPML support. They told me to inform you that Themeco changed the framework, so that sidebars can now be assigned to all languages like this:

First, you need multilingual widgets like this:

Then, go to “Appearance -> Sidebars”.Then, please click here on “All Languages”. Then you can assign the 3 widgets to the sidebar. So the content in the left sidebar changes as soon as you change the language.
