Should I update add-on plugins when prompted?

Hi X Team ~

I’m not seeing a clear answer in the KB or forum search results…

Should I update add-on plugins like Slider Revolution and The Grid when prompted in the dashboard – for example, “There is a new version of Slider Revolution available. View version 5.4.6.4 details or update now.?” Or is it best to just wait until X automatically updates?

Does it create issues to update the add-on plugins separately?

Hi Sally,

Sometimes those plugins push an update version but it takes a few more days for us to test the compatibility of the new version with the theme.

If the update is available on your dashboard, please check version compatibility and update to the latest version available.
