ShiftNav Toggle

Hi there,

All of a sudden the shiftnav toggle button on my responsive menu stopped working. You can see this if you use the chrome emulator or go below a breakpoint of 960px. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for writing around! Please check for the following first:

1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript.

I have tried all of the above without success. Can you please provide a solution? I even deleted the plugin and am now using the free version (which also worked previously).

I’m seeing multiple JavaScript errors in browser’s console related to ShiftNav (see screenshot)

The content I see is being served by the cache, please make sure to delete the cache and disable the cache plugin as suggested in the above steps. Maybe It’s the cache that I see you’re still using an old version of the theme, please check and update X and Cornerstone to the latest version.

The errors are mostly due to a third party plugin conflict, please make sure to test for a plugin conflict as suggested in above steps.
