Server Resources Being Drained By Cornerstone

Every time I make a simple website change using Cornerstone Editor my website reports database error.

My hosting company Cloudways recommended up-scaling server to 1GB to combat this.

However even after upscaling, I’m still finding it difficult to make changes to website using Cornerstone.

Can you please advise best practice or advise me on any solutions to resolve this?

I’ve attached screenshot from hosting company.

Hello Drew,

Thanks for asking.

Cornerstone does not interact directly with the database. It uses function provided by WordPress to save the changes. I checked the screenshot and then the website listed on the licence page. I see that you are using old version of X Theme. Please update X Theme from 4.6.0 to 6.4.5. Along with that I see you are using bunch of plugins. Please deactivate all the plugins and then test the case. After that pre-activate one at a time to find out the plugin causing the issue.

To update X Theme, please take a look at theme update guide.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks.
