In the section at the bottom “Video” I have set the background to be the above video, but I can’t make it work.
I can see the video URL in the page source, so I’ve got it in there ok.
I can’t find anything useful in the KB which explains the correct approach.
I checked the page and it looks like MEJS (the WordPress library for media players) is getting a 404 when trying to locate your video. With a Vimeo Pro account you should be able to get a direct link to the .mp4 file. You can use this as the source URL of your background.
Would you mind letting me know as well if this was working prior to updating Pro to 1.2.7?
I hadn’t tied this pre-127 so don’t know - but it’s working now. The KB ought to say you need a link to the actual video file. Thanks for your help, Bill.
Ok thanks for confirming! We made some adjustments to MEJS in 1.2.7 in preparation for WordPress 4.9 compatibility (they updated the MEJS library) so I was just checking to make sure nothing changed between updates. Glad to hear you got it working!
