Revslider not showing because of https-issue

Hi there,

my revslider is not loading completely after i switched the whole page to ssl. This following is the error i get in the console:
Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://duplex-coaching.de/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Do you maybe know how to fix this?

Hi @eckiles

The slider isn’t loading for another JS error I can see in the console, please try the following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  4. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  5. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

If this doesn’t help, then please provide us with WordPress Dashboard login details in a “Secure Note” so we can investigate this issue.

Thanks.

Summary

I couldn’t get it to work. I tried everything you mentioned.

Hi There,

Yes, you’re having a Mixed Content issue, that means your process of moving from http to https did not go quite well.

Try using this plugin WP Force SSL

Or redo the migration process but this time follow this guide (Migrate Cornerstone Data from Site to Site)

Hope it helps,
Cheers!
