Rev Slider loading twice

Hi,

I have noticed in GTmetrix that pro is loading the homepage slider twice.

You can see in the attached screenshot that it is slowing the load time of my site considerably.

the error is being reported as:

I should note that I have purged the the wp-rocket ad coudflare caches

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! This issue usually happens when you have combined or minified JS and CSS files. For best results, please do not minify the JS and CSS files because they are already minified. You may only combine them. To check this settings, please go to WP Rocket > Static Files tab.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi,

I only minified the css and js today but have been having an issue with the double loading of the rev slider for a couple of days.

I have turned off the minification of the css and js and purged the wp-rocket and cloudflare caches and the problem persists.

thanks,

brent

Hi there,

Our theme does not have any caching built in but the JS files that the tool you used shows that one is loaded from:

https://domain.com/wp-content/cache/busting/1/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.tools.min-5.4.6.6.js

Another from:

https://domain.com/wp-content/plugins/revslider/public/assets/js/jquery.themepunch.tools.min.js?rev=5.4.6.6

The second URL is the correct one but the first one uses cache cache/busting/1 you need to search for cache problems. You can test that this is not related to our theme by changing the theme temporarily to something other than Pro and you will see that the same problem persists.

You can contact your hosting service provider and ask them why that cache folder is there.

Also please consider that to use CloudFlare with our theme and Cornerstone you need to follow the steps below:

Thank you.
