Restoring wordpress site using Xtheme Extended demo

Hi I don’t know if this is what you can give help with. After many hours of getting my website set up, I was moving files from sub directory to root directory to change the url on my wordpress site. When changing my files to the root directory I messed up my website. My host company when trying to help saved my files into a new “public_html _previous” folder and set up a new 'public_html ’ root folder. Now I have lost all my website and don’t know how to fix it. I had the x theme extended demo Gym as my theme in the child theme. Is this some one can advise how to fix.

Hey @ArnoldSusanne,

You have incorrectly moved your site. Simply copying the files will not work. We have a migration guide here. Try moving your site to the sub-directory again then follow the migration guide.

If that does not help though, I’m afraid you need to rebuild your site again or have a developer restore your site for you.
