Responsive Text Cornerstone

Please help.

I need to apply responsive text to some of my text on the website. I checked some forum posts and saw that there is an option in Setting to add Responsive Text. When I open my settings in cornersone I don’t have that option. What do I need to do. I don’t want to use media quiries, I want the text to be responsive instead.

Thanks

Hi There @LixarCommunity

Thanks for writing in! First of all, make sure that you’re fully updated including X theme and Cornerstone by referring to our changelog here (https://theme.co/changelog/) and then update your site accordingly (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

Then review this guide on how to use responsive text feature (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-use-responsive-text/46041/2).

Hope that helps.

Thank you so much! It does work now with the text. But with buttons it is really buggy… I use big buttons that look really nice on the dig screen, But once the screen is smaller it cuts off the button in the middle… Can I use the responsive text settings? I created a different class for that. but it doesn’t work well. The button gets huge and still cuts off…Should I use something else instead?

Hey @LixarCommunity,

For the Button Element, I would recommend that you use custom responsive text value like calc(1em + 0.6vw) in the Font Size setting. Just be careful you don’t miss the parenthesis or other syntax errors.

To better understand what I mean, it would be best that you watch this screencast at https://youtu.be/SdQHpAgFumw

Hope that helps.

thank you soooo much! Working
