Replacing Portfolio page w/Post Type, wrong links

Hi everyone!

Hope you can help me.

I used CPT UI to add two new post type to replace a single Portfolio page that I used to feature photos and videos.

However the new custom links, i.e. https://royceto.com/photos and */vidoes, always points back to Portfolio page, i.e. https://royceto.com/portfolio-item/. Wonder how the two new links can point correctly to the index page of the new post type.

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The Portfolio page template will only work with portfolio items pre built in the theme. If you are using custom post type, you will not be able to use the Portfolio page template. I would recommend that you simply create an ordinary page and make use of the Essential Grid or The Grid plugin. With this grid plugin, you can create a grid that displays your custom post types and insert this page into the page.
