Recent post excpert disapeared

Hi,
On the bottom of this page I have recent posts with excerpts.
They were showing all along and suddenly the excerpt disappeared. I cant figure out what I did. Now there are these 3 little dots.

Hi Rena,

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking, I see that you’re not using the latest version of Pro theme on your site. You can see the latest version numbers here and update your theme and see if that resolves your issue.

If you’re still having issues, please enable the WP_DEBUG mode on your WordPress and revisit your homepage to see if you’re getting any error messages.

Thanks for the suggestion. I went to upgrade and got this message:

Update Failed:

The initial message was a little more elaborate than that. But it disappeared. Should I update manually? Ive never seen this error message before.

I checked your site and it returning an http error 500.

Please try to update manually using FTP
