reCAPTCHA - Contact Form 7

Hi,
I installed reCAPTCHA on Contact Form 7 some time ago without problems…
Recently it didn’t work anymore and just indicated the shortcode [reCAPTCHA] under the contact form.
I reinstalled APIkeys etc… but now in the Contact Form setup window there is no reCAPTCHA tag anymore to introduce shortcode?

HI,
Contact form 7 now uses Google Recaptcha V3, this has removed the [recaptcha] tag

You need to create new keys in Google and insert in to the integration section of Contact form 7.

But I’m using Contact Form 7 - version 5.1.1 and I read that for this version Google Recaptch v2 is still needed?

Thanks for reaching out.

I think it’s best contacting the plugin author for this issue, but personally, I would use the latest version as it may contains fixes for recent major version (5.0).

Contact Form 7 - version 5.1.1 has fixed an issue with spam getting through the V3 Captcha

Changed to v3 and now everything is OK…
