Products and Categories getting Mixed Up

Checked settings for the pages, and it’s confirmed at only show categories, however on certain pages, it’s showing both categories and the products within them.

I at first thought it could be the categories the products have, but it’s not doing this on all the pages, just certain ones.

Left hand of the line are categories, right hand side are the products.

Can anyone help?

Hi There,

Thank you for the screenshots. Please share your site URL so we can check what is happening on the page and how it is setup. Are you using Woocommerce? We might also need to check your setting via admin. If you may also share credentials inside a secure note, that would be better. Thank you.

Hey @slowbear,

Are you using WooCommerce 3.3? If so, that is not compatible with X 5.2.5 which you are currently using. You will need to downgrade to WooCommerce 3.2.6 or, upgrade X to the latest version. Please see our Changelog, Release Notes and follow our Update Guide

Thanks.

Hi @christian_y, we currently have WooCommerce 3.2.6 installed.

Thanks for getting back to me.

As you can see here (https://ecauk.com/product-category/chassis/), the page is only showing categories, which is great.

However here (https://ecauk.com/product-category/embedded/), it’s showing both for some reason.

We are using Woo Commerce.

Thanks

Hello There,

This issue is happening because by default, the shop or product category pages will display category and products. Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display tab. It must only display “Show Products”.

And if you are using the latest WooCommerce, that settings can now be found in Appearance > Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Catalog.

Please let us know how it goes.

Hi @RueNel

Clicking a category, we need it to show the subcategories only. Then clicking a subcategory, show the products within it. Changing it as per the screenshots removes the subcategories which we don’t want.

Weirdly - this issue is only appearing on one page (https://ecauk.com/product-category/embedded/).

Does this help?

Thanks

Hi there,

Would you mind providing your admin and FTP login credentials in a secure note? I need to see if this is related or template.

Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me. I’ve added this to a secure note. Any help would be great.

Hi,

Please provide us your wordpress admin login as well.

Thanks

Hi @paul.r
I’ve put this in a secure note above.

Thanks

Hi There,
