Problem with Cornerstone Fixes Showing on Live Site

Hi, I’m creating a simple site at: http://pritsker.flywheelsites.com/

The site is a copy of an old site I cloned, so there is some custom CSS involved or that was carried over to this new site.

I have been using Cornerstone to make changes, and within the Cornerstone backend preview, everything looks good. It should look like this: https://screencast.com/t/xgb4Uw8HPwV

However, if you take a look at the development site, you’ll see that the “As Featured In…” box and the logos are overlapping the header image when it should be below the image.

Any ideas as to what is going on? I’m not a developer, so I’m relying on Cornerstone to make changes. Do you know if there is any prior custom CSS that is causing the issue?

Best Regards,
Myles

Hello Myles,

Thanks for writing in! I am seeing a broken section structure in the page. This is the reason why it is not displaying correctly. Are you using the old section shortcode with the default WP editor or the Cornerstone editor? It seems that you may have edited the page outside of Cornerstone.

To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Thank you.

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. I’ve listed the URL and the Wordpress access info a secure note to my original message.

The site may be using an old shortcode section. I have only edited the page inside the Cornerstone editor–I can’t recall editing it elsewhere, other than perhaps some custom CSS that may have been added to the page from another developer who was working on a different site.

Please recall that this site is a clone of an old site that had some custom css work.

Please let me know what you find. Thanks!

Hi @mvives,

The section where the image is not working since it needs a row. I added one and it’s now rendered okay in the front.

Thanks!
