Problem updating theme

It’s been a long time and I have v 4.3.0 installed. I am trying to reenter my license that I just got on a new account, and I keep getting “Could not establish connection. For assistance, please start by reviewing our article on troubleshooting”. GoDaddy says everything is fine, I have no caching plugins, and I can’t get it to connect. What do I do? If I have to do it manually through the WP interface, how do I do it assuring that I won’t lose anything? Thank you…

Version 4.3 is using API key and the latest one is now using license codes (https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-x-4-4-0).

You may need to update the theme manually because 4.3 does not accept license code. You can download the latest version from your dashboard here: https://theme.co/apex/dashboard
