Problem after update

Hi, I have recently update a site from x-theme 4 to x-theme 6 and I have some problem on visual composer elements.

Some kind on vc elements doesn’t work anymore: I can put them in the backend but in the frontend they don’t generate html code.
Only text elements work. Now you can see other elements because they has been inserted with raw html.

In the Chrome console there are some errors:

Uncaught TypeError: window.csGlobal.collapse is not a function
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (x-body.min.js?ver=6.0.4:1)
    at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
    at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
    at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
    at HTMLDocument.K (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2)
(anonymous) @ x-body.min.js?ver=6.0.4:1
i @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
fireWith @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
ready @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2
K @ jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2

Uncaught TypeError: t.parallaxContentBand is not a function

    at dispatch (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)
    at r.handle (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3)

Can you help me to find the issue? I already have tried to deactivate all plugins. but nothing’s changed.

Thi is the site: http://www.boxsrl.eu/

Thank you very much

Hi There,

We’ve released the X v6.1.5: https://theme.co/changelog/.

Could you please try updating your X theme to the latest version as well?

Let us know how it goes!

Our website stopped working after the update and we just had to pay our hosting company to fix it… after updating X as well as Cornerstone, we had white screen… website is gone restoring the backup didn’t fix it either… and now our hosting company is working on getting the site back (hopefully) seems like this update is something I should NOT HAVE done prior to reading that it’s breaking many sites… not sure what to do

We had to roll back to an older version of X to get our website back… can someone help me. Did I do something wrong, is it our hosting company that sucks, or is there a few issues/bugs that are resulting in websites crashing. I think it is not the theme as X has never let me down but after seeing all of these posts and having rolled back to a restored version prior to this update, I am wondering if I should just wait

The errors you saw (in the first message) could happen if you update Cornerstone to the latest version but don’t update X. It looks like X was still version 6.0.4 and Cornerstone was 3.1.5. Could you try updating both at the same time? X should be 6.1.5. You can always see the latest available versions on your dashboard or the changelog https://theme.co/changelog/

Why do you use my support request? Please open your own request, thanks.

Thanks, now we’ll try to update to the last x. Let you know

You’re welcome, Alessandro.

The truth is I didn’t notice that x was not on the last version! Now I have updated all at the last 6.1.6 and everything works fine.

Thank you very much for all

You’re welcome, Alessandro. Glad we could help.
