Pro wont launch after migration

Hi I just copied a site from one domain: from: http://del.venicemenace.com/ to https://modernpracticela.com/ everything looks fine except Pro won’t launch when I click edit page with Pro. I tried clearing Cache, increasing Php memory limit, execution time, deactivating and reactivating different plugins. Search and replace in WP migrate DB… Im about to loose hope is there anything you can help me with here?

Hi @annekling,

Thanks for writing in.

I could see that there is a console error on the site. I could not check further because the database not working well.

Try to reinstall your cornerstone, check the link below on how to reinstall your setup. Updating and reinstalling are almost the same.

Hope it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

I was probably deleting and reimporting the MySQL databases when you checked it out as I continued to try to figure it out:
I eventually managed to get it working, and I don´t really know how I did it as I did it the same way as I did all the other times following this manual way tutorial of moving the site(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJED0dqEx-M)

However in the end here are the steps I took when it worked in the end:
I re-uploaded the site to a subdomain (ex. http://test.myexample.com) on the new server that did not have SSL installed, delete all old databases, create new ones with new names and import all the tables from the old functioning site (ex. http://myoldsiteexample.com) via PHPMyadmin on the new server, then from there I cloned the site to the main server (ex. https://myexample.com) with Installatron where the SSL is installed and then using WP Migrate DB plugin search and replace function (with the advanced option: “replace GUIDs” unchecked) to get the links and the SSL to work and be configured correctly again.
I then deactivated and reactivated WP superCache pluing, deleted all cache from site, deleted all cache from the browser.
And somehow when I did it this way the Pro builder tool was functioning and launching again. And I don´t really know why. I suspect the launching of the Pro builder was colliding with something in the databases and the URL related to the extra S in the “https” when I tried directly uploading the site to the server where the SSL was installed as opposed to the old site that only had http. My theory. Just sharing here in case someone runs into the same problem and hopefully this can be of some help.

Thank you for sharing that, yes that could be it and a residue of caching.

Cheers!
