Yes, that’s correct you need to decide which one you need to use.
Though in Pro Header, you can add Breadcrumbs using the breadcrumbs element.
But for post navigation, portfolio navigation, blog/category titles, you will need to add those using filter and hooks.

Regretfully, yes. The breadcrumbs, post navigation, portfolio navigation, blog/category titles are all part of the landmark header which is part of the Classic Header that gets replaced the Pro Header.
You need to build those areas in the Pro Header Builder as Paul said. I’d just correct Paul’s statement though. You can replicate the Titles easily by setting up the Dynamic Content of a Headline or a Text element. For the post navigation, however, you currently need to create your own shortcode.
