PRO header overlapping my content

Hi, I have an issue with my header overlapping my content.

http://nova.valentin.graphics/index.php/home/

It overlapps the slider and when I click on the slider button to bring me to the section below it also overlaps it. Can you assist me with fixing this.

And one more question, how can I assign an ID to a section, so I can create an anchor link after because on Cornerstone I believe there is a field to do it but here can’t find it.

Hello @vlntnt,

Thanks for writing in!

Please edit your header and make sure that the initial position is “relative”.

To add an ID to a section, simply edit the page in Cornerstone and click the section. When you are in the section settings, find the “Customize” tab and you will find the field for the ID.

We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.

  1. Hi, when I click on the About us button from the slider which is set to lead to the section below, it still overlaps.

  2. Found the ID section, thanks.

  3. I also have a bug to repport. Basically when I make a change on the website and click “Save” and I switch between the sections (Layout/Elements/Inspector) it redirects me to Page 404, it basically opens the section as a link instead of in builder. The only when that I can switch between them is to make a change and when I try to swap between Elements and Layout for example it asks me whether I want to stay on the page or leave and when I press stay, the new section opens. I can record a video if you don’t get what I mean.

Hi There,

I couldn’t replicate this issue on my end.

Please follow up the steps below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  3. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  4. Switch to the parent theme to check if the issue persists.
  5. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post and the recorded video to follow up the case.

Thank you.
