Pro, Header-/Footer-Builder, WooCommerce 3.3.5, Endless loading

Hello!

Since I updated to WooCommerce 3.3.5 the header- and footer-builder are endless loading. If I deactivate woocommerce I can edit my header nor footer again.
Do you know this problem?

Thanks!

Robert

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

It’s either the latest version of Woocommerce is not fully compatible with your host environment and causing internal server. Or the newer version has a lot of feature that may require more resources and it makes the system unstable and slow. I like to check it, would you mind providing your site’s URL, admin and FTP login credentials in a secure note?

For the meantime, please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.

  7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

Thanks.

Hello Rad,

thanks.

  1. Done, still endless loading
  2. No caching plugin active
  3. No CDN
  4. I already did that, its “WooCommerce”
  5. Done, still endless loading
  6. Done, still endless loading
  7. Done, still endless loading

Best,

Robert

Hi There,

It seems that your hosting provider is not allowing you to change the PHP memory limit.

PHP-Speicherlimit 256,0 MiB

Also the current X/Pro compatible WooCommerce version would be v3.3.3 as mentioned on our knowledge base section (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195). You can try downgrading it by downloading the exact version from the following link (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/).

Hope that helps.
