PRO footer- text disappears on mobile and Menu changes on Mobile

I’m working on the footer of a website with PRO but the footer text disappears when I view it on mobile. Additionally, when I change to mobile view, the menu in the footer changes to the demo menu. Thanks so much for the help!

Thank you for writing in, please do the following.

• Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility), (Updating Your Themes and Plugins)
• Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.
• Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
• Remove custom Javascript and custom templates (if any).

If nothing works, please provide us your site URL so we can take a closer look.

Hey there,

Thanks for your response. I did tried clearing cache and all the other things you mentioned but unfortunately I am seeing the same error.

This also happens on mobile (not on wifi) and I tried with other mobile devices that had never been to the page to ensure it wasn’t cached.

Once I go on mobile the footer menu of my page changes to that of the default but when I view it on desktop it shows my menu. Additionally the text that shows on desktop disappears entirely on mobile.

Hi @mangelreynolds,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I checked your footer setup and I see you’ve two bars for different screen resolutions.

Bar 1 is for the desktop screens and Bar 2 is for the smaller screens, the text is in the Bar 1 which disappears in the smaller screens. To checkout the visibility of the bars please click on the glass icon to inspect the bar (see screenshot)

Then go to Customize > Hide During Breakpoints and adjust the visibility.

Now to edit the Bar which is visible in smaller screens click on Bar 2 and you’ll see the containers and elements associated with the bar 2:

To resolve the mobile footer menu issue click on Container 3 and inspect Navigation Inline element (as shown in the above screenshot) and assign the menu.
