Pro Editor will not load web page

Hi,

The Pro GUI loads fine, but the logo keeps bouncing where the web page should appear.
Using the brower’s inspect element feature I can see the following in the console:

cs-vendor.js?ver=3.5.4:80 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'max_action_history_items' of undefined

I’ve done two things on the site today: update Yoast Premium (from 11.1.0 to 11.1.1 - this is another support case. I get 0 characters on page, and this is what I’ve been researching today… but ignore this for now

Also, after checking out this page, https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/yoast-seo-does-not-recognize-text-in-pages-made-with-x-pro/42025, i tried to change a page on my site through the default editor.

Those are the two thing I’ve done, and then the error appeared. Site loads fine front end.

Otherwise I’ve disabled plugins in the attempt to get the editor back up and running, also cleared cache.

Hello @drjens,

Thanks for writing in!

As you have tried basic troubleshooting steps, please share website login details in secure note for us to take a closer look at the setup.

In the meantime, please make sure that the PHP memory limit is set to at least 512mb. To increase the memory limit, please take a look at following resource.

Thanks.

Thank you for getting back to me that swiftly.

I’ve added the details in a secure note.

Please note that the site is under construction… so do please ignore the mess :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi @drjens,

Upon checking your website, I could see that this file is not loading completely:

https://www.starrewards.no/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/assets/dist-app/js/cs-vendor.js?ver=3.5.4

Please check your PHP Max Execution Time and set it for 300 for optimal usage (https://thimpress.com/knowledge-base/how-to-increase-maximum-execution-time-for-wordpress-site/).

If it still doesn’t help, please provide us with your FTP account so we can take a closer look.

Thank you.

Thank you so far.

I’ve tried both to edit the .httpaccess and config-file. No change.

The error message does appear way to quick to be a timeout anyways as far as I can see.

Please find info as requested attached

PS: removed all the changed timeout settings, to set you up with a blank canvas

Hi There @drjens

I have tested your issue further by disabling your plugins one by one and the Pro content builder started functioning again once I have disabled GDPR Cookie Consent plugin. See secure note below for the screenshot.

Could you please try testing it on your end as well and see if that works.

Thanks!

YES! I Tried and it worked.
Activated the GDPR plugin. It didn’t work.
Deactivated it again. Worked!

Wierd… I don’t remember touching the plugin in between a working state and the failure. That’s why I didn’t think of deactivating it.

Thank you so much !

Glad to hear it’s sorted, @drjens.
