PRO builder bug

Hello there and thanks for this great theme. Im having problem when i insert content and ess.grid there with shortcode. After i ad short code the content section dissapears and i cannot locate it any more. Also the ess.grid is not showing in pro builder but i can see it in my live site. Also after i used one ess.grid (wich i cannot locate ) it messed up my other parts in builder. Some parts that were beside each other are now on up/down. In the live site everything is still showing like normall. Any help here or any suggestion what else would be good to show recent news with that same kind of styling options?

Hi Jimi,

Thanks for writing in! I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. Did you try adding your shortcode into Raw Content element ?

Also try switching to Skeleton mode, and see if you can find those elements.

From there try editing or deleing your element.

If you’re still having any issues, try increasing your PHP memory limit by following our guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935) and then try deleting again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

I increased the memry limit in my config file to 512. I didnt try to locate the problem in my front page yet but its funny that i could make iframe code in the front page ( wich i cannot locat atm ) but now when i made new page and try to add same type of iframe code there it doesnt work in normal content box or the raw content? the code is like this : [iframe src=“http://www.gramofoni.fi/wp-content/encore/59.html” width=“100%” height=“600”]
what is the best way to use iframe code in PRO? In our old site we used normal txtblock to ad i frame and it worked well. We have music agency company and have many artists so i have to make a page to every artist and we show the gigs in each page with iframe that syncs with our calendar so that iframe is must for our company.

Hi Jimi,

Your iframe code works fine on my end.

<iframe src="http://www.gramofoni.fi/wp-content/encore/59.html" width="100%" height="600">

You can paste that either on Classic Raw Content element or Content Areaelement.

Maybe there is a broken HTML tag somewhere on your content, please audit your page content and fix any broken HTML tag you manually written.

And by the way, you don’t need to paste the Essential Grid shortcode in the Cornerstone, because Cornerstone has the Essential Grid element for inserting Essential Grid.

Thanks,

Thx for the tip about ess.grid! How can i audit my content to you?

Hi @Gramofoni,

We can’t audit content, but we recommend fixing any HTML issues. It’s usually related to stray elements or javascripts. You can use this online tool

https://validator.w3.org/

But not all errors are needed to be fixed, just the stray element errors like element without opening or closing.

And does the plugin responsible for the shortcode is still active?

Thanks!
