Preview with Classic Slider element

Hello,

Is it possible to add a preview of the other slides when using the Classic Slider element? I’d like to achieve something similar to this (previews on both sides):

Thanks,
Antoine

Hi Antoine,

That’s not possible with classic slider element.

You can try with the Revolution Slider plugin instead:

Hope it helps

Thank you for the direction. I had a look at slider resolution and I’ve got the feeling it will take me ages to achieve what I want as I have not much experience using it.

Is there maybe preset I could use to achieve this?
Or could you please tell me where to change the setting in order to achieve this previews (like on the screenshot of my previous post?

Thanks,
Antoine

Hello Antoine,

Here are some free slider that you can download and install on your site:

https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/

Kindly check and see if there is one that matches your requirement.

Cheers!

Thank you. I already had a look at it but I cannot find something similar to what I want to achieve. I therefore need to understand how to create it.

Hi Antoine,

It looks like you want to create a carousel slider.

You can find some guide here: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/carousel/

In case you are aiming to create something else, please refer to other resources from that link as that is the Rev Slider documentation.

Hope this helps.

Thank you. I tried to look for information in the documentation but could not really find it so far.
Is it possible to contact the support of the plugin directly as I do not have a license number? Or will you do the support directly?

I mean, I know exactly what I want to achieve. I showed you a sreenshot and it can be seen on this page (second section). But I did not manage to replicate it and really need some help for this (or I will spend an entire day on it…).

Thanks,
Antoine

Hey Antoine,

It’s not possible to contact the plugin developer directly if you don’t have a standalone license. We also provide the support for third party bundled plugins.

The information you need for the carousel setup can be found in the link Jade provided. It does not tell the exact setup but it teaches you what the Carousel Settings does. Before I provide specific details about the setup, please note that:

Replication of slider setups is also not a part of our support service. We will be here to help you understand Slider Revolution’s features. With that said, please follow the initial setup below:

1. Setup a Carousel Type Slider. See https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-setup/#slidertype
2. Select a Carousel Preset that’s closest to your design. See https://www.themepunch.com/faq/easy-carousels-slider-type-presets/. You might want to try the Flat Infinite preset. That lead me close to your sample slider design.

3. I’ll post the additional settings to get to that look in my screenshot but refer to the Carousel Settings documentation provided by Jade to learn what the settings does. See https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/carousel/

Set the Space between slides to 150px.

4. Under the Navigation Settings, set the Left Arrow Postion to 400px Horizontal Offset and the Right Arrow Position to -400px. You will want to adjust the said values depending on your Grid Sizes.

You will need to fine tune the setup and also work or setup each slide’s layers to replicate your sample slider. Please review the provided online documentation at https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/

If you have a tight deadline, I’d recommend that you hire a freelancer specializing in building Slider Revolution sliders or make use of ThemePunch’s Custom Development service. That is the fastest way to replicate a slider.

Buying a separate Slider Revolution license and building from a premium template would also be a good option on top of other benefits. See https://revolution.themepunch.com/direct-customer-benefits/

Hope that leads you to the right direction and thank you for understanding.

Thank you for all the explanation. I did not manage to get the preview of the next slides (on the right and left sides). Where can I change the setting for this?

Hi @Lecoqdigital,

Please edit your slider settings under Navigation > Arrows > Arrows Style > select Dione:

For more information, please take a look at this article:

Hope it helps
