Preview is not loading

Preview is not loading to create new pages in Cornerstone.
I am getting an error message that there is no HTML tag.

I have deactivated ALL plugins as well as cleared the X cache and cache in my hosting platform.

Hi Sabina,

Please double check if you have both X and Cornerstone updated to the latest version if you have recently updated either of them. Then please try to clear your site and browser cache.

Also, please make sure to check for the following first:

  • We’d recommend that you increase your memory allocated to PHP if you haven’t done so already. To increase it, please edit your wp-config.php file and insert these lines:
    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
  • If the issue is still there, please make sure that you have everything updated to the latest version especially for X and Cornerstone. You can find more info about the support versions of X and its bundled plugins here.

  • If you are still seeing an issue, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I have upped my memory already - no change
I have deactivated all plugins except for Cornerstone - no change
I have cleared all caches - no change

I am updated on all X and Cornerstone.

Hi There,

I have re-installed your Cornerstone plugin, updated your X theme and then I was able to load Cornerstone editor (see secure note). Could you please clear your browser cache and test it on your end?

If you’re still getting issues, delete your X theme by switching to a default WordPress theme and re-install your X theme again by downloading the latest version from your Envato account.

In case if that does not help, provide us with your FTP credentials in a secure note to investigate this issue further.
