Portfolio Missing under Dashboard

Hi,

We are using Theme X on the site

and have a page setup called

This page has been created using the WordPress editor, not Theme X

This page displays portfolio items.

However, the Portfolio option under Dashboard has disappeared.

How can we get back the Portfolio navigation item under Dashboard. Is there something with Theme X that is causing this? or Something with the newer version of WordPress and Theme X.

Hey Mike,

It looks like you have updated the version of X on that site but left Cornerstone in the previous version which caused an incompatibility issue. Kindly update Cornerstone as well. Here is a link for a details information on how to do an update:

Please remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors or any unexpected display issue on the site.

Hi,

Thanks that seems to have fixed the Navigation item, however I see that we get a Page Not Found when we actually click on a Portfolio item, or try to preview a portfolio item in the Portfolio area.

What would be causing this?

Here is the page where the Portfolio items are listed

and if you click on say the first one

It gives the Page Not Found message.

Hello Mike,

To resolve this issue, please do the following:

1.) Go to X > Theme Options > Portfolio and make sure that the custom URL slug is set to portfolio-item.

2.) Go to Settings > Permalinks and update the permalink settings by just hitting the “Save Changes” button.

Thanks, that seems to have helped the page show. However we are getting a big “Oops” when viewing any of the Portfilo pages.

Our apologies for the inconvenience. This is a confirmed bug that should be fixed in the next update that is currently in beta testing.

Once the testing and done and and update is released, kindly update and this issue should be sorted.
