Portfolio Missing Photos and Weird filter issue

Hi there, I’m using the standard portfolio and having some issues on my site that I just can’t figure out why.
The first issue is the filter: https://www.greatstairs.com/gallery/
is not capturing all the the associated tags, specifically if you were to click on “Exterior Glass” in the filter only 1 comes up where there is suppose to be 2. I’ve doubled check they are both tagged the same but yet only one shows up. This one does not: https://www.greatstairs.com/portfolio-item/deck-glass-railing-with-clips-ssr18/

The second gallery issue: When I select glass and go to the next page, it goes to the second page, but the filter is turned off. This happens any time the filter is used and you switch to the second page of that filter.

Any idea why this weird stuff is happening?

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your setup and I see you’re using an outdated version of X and Cornerstone, please update your theme and plugins to the latest version first as many bugs are addressed in the latest releases. You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site. If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

I also noticed the content of your site is being served by the cache, please purge all caches and disable the cache plugin and optimization services. Let us know how this goes!

This is how it works by default right now on portfolio. Filter only works on what is on the current page only. It will filter the content of the current page. If you will go to page 2 of that gallery, then click Exterior Glass, you can see the other one: https://www.greatstairs.com/portfolio-item/deck-glass-railing-with-clips-ssr18/. So yes, filter will reset when the page reloads on the next page. There are plans to revamp how this works but there’s no definite timeline yet. If you want to explore, you might want to check essential grid. It is a bundled plugin with the theme.
