Portfolio Gallery Help Please

Hi,

I’ve been trying to add Galleries to Portfolio Items.

I have created the Portfolio Items and have selected Gallery as the Media Type. I’ve set the featured image in the usual way.

Once I have created the Portfolio item I have gone to the Media Directory in List View and have attached the relevant images to the Portfolio Item.

The Portfolio Item shows one image with navigation arrows however, the image is static and clicking the arrows doe not advance the gallery.

One of the Portfolio Items almost works - I have attached 3 images, the gallery ‘works’ but only cycles through 2 of the images.

Can you help? Is there a setting I need to adjust or is there a Plugin I need to activate?

Do you want to add more images to you portfolio item gallery? Please be aware that you will have to edit the portfolio item and upload the images into that item before it will appear in your gallery. Hi,

I followed the process correctly - the images are attached to Portfolio Item in the way you described but the gallery function of scrolling from image to image does not work.

This is the non-working Portfolio Item https://www.paulzenibridal.com/collection/amelia/ and here is the Media Library

Please could you tell me how to make this work?

Hi David,

In that case, would you mind providing your admin login credentials in a secure note? Please note that the image you upload in featured image will be excluded. Hence, if you wish to include the same image, you will have to re-upload the same copy but not as featured image.

Ah - OK that was the issue. So I couldn’t use one of the images that i wanted to appear in the gallery as the featured image, I had to upload a whole new copy of the image…

That seems to be working.

You might want to make that clear in your documentation?
