Plugin conflict while editing home page

Hi, When I am trying to edit Home page of my website (www.taxjackams.co.nz) in X-theme cornerstone, it is showing error. I have attached screenshot of it. This is the only page which is showing errors, rest all the pages can be opened for editing.
Please help.
Thanks
Anuja

Hi Anuja,

Thanks for reaching out.

You may use any image hosting provider and provide the URL in the reply. And may I know which plugin is conflicting with cornerstone builder in the home page?

Please provide your admin login credentials in the secure note as well.

Thanks!

Secure note sent.

Hi Anuja,

I checked and it seems to be Mixed Content issue related. Have you recently configured it to HTTPS? Because the resources are still loading from non-HTTP, even the builder URL is still non-HTTP. Actually, the entire site isn’t configured to HTTPS but just redirected to HTTPS.

I’m not sure how you did the redirect, but please turn that off and properly configure your site for HTTPS. Please follow this

  1. Please go to Admin > Settings > General and change both URLs to HTTPS

Like from http://taxjackams.co.nz to https://taxjackams.co.nz

  1. The change may require you to re-login.

  2. Install Better Search Replace plugin and replace the string http://taxjackams.co.nz/wp-content/ with https://taxjackams.co.nz/wp-content/ from all tables

  3. Deactivate your cache plugin and test your home page in the builder again.

Thanks!

Hi,
I tried replace the string http://taxjackams.co.nz/wp-content/ with https://taxjackams.co.nz/wp-content/ using better search and replace plugin. I did a dry run but it resulted in 0 replacement. screen shot attached.

So I manually changed both URLs under Admin > Settings > General. Now I can open the home page for editing.
Should I need to do anything else?

Hi Anuja,

Yes, you still need to replaced internal URLs. Changing it through the settings only take effect on newly added data, the existing data will still use the old URLs.

But if there is not much data yet and you’re still creating them then it should be okay. It’s only important if you’re inserting URLs and resources from Media Library, so if you see added on or few then you may need to re-add them to update them with correct URL instead of doing a database search and replace. Else, it should be okay since it’s now configured.

Thanks!
