Placing the navbar below header

Hi there,

How can I achieve the navbar being below the header, same as this website: http://modernclimatecontrol.com/

So when you scroll past the header, the navbar sticks and gets fixed on top? But when you scroll up past the header area, the navbar gets placed below the header (same as in the ModernClimateControl website)

Thanks!

Hello @Jeypolitan,

Thanks for asking.

As of now X Theme does not have fixed bottom navbar feature and when you scroll sticks to top. You can have the same using custom CSS but that that falls outside the scope of support we can offer.

Having that that you do have the option of displaying sticky navigation my selecting Fixed Top under X > Theme Options > Header > Navbar > Navbar Position.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi Prasant

By looking through the Forum, I found that it is possible with X through the Slider Revolution. There is a check-box on each page where one can add the slider/header and select the placement to be below or above the navbar.

I only have one question regarding the Slider Revolution which is currently located above the header. The next slide is triggered through (either automatic timer) or scrolling. It works great on desktops. However, on mobile, the scrolling is infinite which makes it impossible for the user to continue to see any more of the page as you get redirected to an ‘endless loop’ of the two slides (through scrolling).

I know there must be an option in Revolution Slider settings to stop the scrolling on the last slide, I just cannot find it. I’ve looked but I must be missing it. Could you help me please (without CSS as there must be an option directly in Revolution slider settings)?

Thank you!

Hi @Jeypolitan

That’s the option you are missing:
https://www.themepunch.com/faq/disable-autoplay-stop-slider-at-certain-slide/

It’s in Slider settings here:

Thanks.

Hello Alaa

Yes but these are the exact settings/options that I already have?

And this is the recommendation from your URL:

I’ll attach the URL for the slider in the secure note.

Please advise.

Thank you

Hi again,

I tested with the similar settings in my local setup ( see screenshot ) and it works as expected.

I tried to check your site but you’ve coming soon page enabled. This could just be a cache issue on your end, You can test for the following:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Let us know how this goes!.
