Hi I would like to know if XTheme is compatible with PHP 7.0. I’m trying to use WooCommerce and it’s asking me to update. PHP 7.0 has been out for quite sometime so it would be awesome if I could get a definitive answer. Of course my plugins may have affect on the compatibility however I’m asking in regards to XTheme and all of the 20+ extensions it comes with.
Also WooCommerce is saying that “Your theme (X) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.”

Thanks for writing in! Could you please make sure that you’re fully updated including X theme, Cornerstone plugin and make sure to use X compatible WooCommerce version.

Yes I’m up to date with all of the plugins. However I’m using WooCommerce 3.3.3 as oppose to 3.2.3 listed on the troubleshooting page you sent me.
I downloaded WooCommerce from the X overview page.

Oh wow, thanks. It would be great to get notifications about these things, in an email, or in the dashboard, if that’s possible. I have a high volume store, if I was using WooCommerce and updated to 3.3.3… well that would be rather catastrophic wouldn’t it.
I’m probably going to leave wordpress all together, too many moving parts and things to go wrong. However I would still like to know if Xtheme works with PHP 7?

Thank you for your feedback. I have already submitted a note to our issue tracker so that later versions of X will specify or install the compatible versions of plugins.
With regard to your other concern, X/Pro compatible with PHP 7.0,7.1 however for the time being, please avoid the latest version of PHP which is 7.2 which may introduce new issues.

Regarding WooCommerce I’ve just downloaded 3.2.3 as instructed. Could I ask, is there a resource that can inform me when it’s ok to update to the latest version of WooCommerce or the latest compatible version at least.
This would be extremely helpful as I would like to stay as updated as possible. 3.2.3 is quite some versions behind the current 3.3.3!
